Very long drive to the parking, about 20min. I can not say much about the view on the way up because it was extremely foggy when we went. But by the time we made it to the top the sun had peeked out just enough for us to see some of the beauty. Parking was not a problem, as there was only one other car there and the lot is big. There are single bathrooms. There are some picnic tables and the viewing deck is like a small castle you can climb to overlook the kingdom. It was very peaceful and would probably look 100x better with less fog and more sun, but still very worth the drive and cold.
I had no idea that this existed until we randomly passed it on the way home from fontana village. Well worth the extremely slow drive in our lowered sports car up the mountain.
Liked the parking area but the facilities were out of supplies. It could even use sanitizer.
I liked this place a lot.... Specially the view .. worth visiting and will recommend strongly
