I had moved here(Franklin, NC) from Anderson, SC where I shopped for over six years. The entire staff at the Anderson, SC store were so very friendly, knew my name, called me by name.. it was like going grocery shopping and visiting friends at the same time! I shopped EVERY department!! WOW, was I in for a major shock and adjustment when I found and starting shopping at the sore in Franklin, NC. Other than a few employees, I found that the Franklin store is NOT friendly.. from the store manager down to the department managers ! I might add.. that the Produce Manger is the WORST of them all! He is not only.. NOT friendly.. he is rude and disrespectful. I am a 69 year old widower on limited income. Every time I try to ask him a question.. EVERY TIME.. he is so rude, he makes me feel totally uncomfortable trying to approach him. Its not only.. what he says at times.. but, how he says it in a degrading manner ! I tried to talk to the store manager but, while I was trying to explain what was happening, he kept right on doing what he was doing and did not even look at me .. only saying in a curt sort of way "yea, i'll take care of it".. and went on his way. Needless to say I was shocked! So, did the problem stop ? Nope.. even got worse! So after shopping at Franklin BI-LO for a year(Anderson store six years), I decided to heck with this, I'll just shop and spend my money at a different store(NOT BI-LO), which I have for two weeks now. I have tried to find the regional office but have so far not found it.. but, I WILL !
Gosh.....I love this grocery store. I have traveled all over the country, in the last 4 years....but NOTHING beats Bi-Lo! Prices are great, easy to find items, great layout of store, helpful friendly employees. I wish they had Bi-Lo's out here in Nevada/Arizona.....the stores here, are terrible. Gotta go back home.....SOON! Just so I can visit my Bi-Lo's again!
Great store... Great sales... Clean and friendly. Has specialty items and hard to find items. Love the bogo sales
Shopped here only once! Bought fresh shrimp and a bag of potatoes and a few canned goods.1 Shrimp was BAD, potatoes were mostly rotten! Never go there again!
Well, people will tell you different things based off of limited experiences. However! I will say that I love Bi-Los (I also work here) and as a cashier I do my best to make my customers smile and provide them with excellent service. If you come in as a customer, I'd just encourage you to keep an open mind and remember that cashiers are people too, with good days and bad days, but that ultimately they are on your side. I have gotten to know the folks here and they are good people, so be sure to give them a second chance if your first impression isn't too great. Thanks :)
