Don't know what a gem store is necessarily supposed to look like, but the staff seem knowledgeable and there is a ton of stuff to look at and buy.

I love this store's jewelry selection, and very helpful and knowledgeable people in this store.The miniature museum that is at this store is detailed and accessible for many people, but i would recommend being cautious if you are having small children with you. Overall i enjoyed my few visits during my family vacations here.
Great place. The business included jewelry, prospecting equipment, cabbing rough, books on minerals, very nice jewelry created there (especially cabochons), and a very nice free museum of minerals. If you are rock hounding the area, go here first and familiarize yourself with the native minerals & ask questions. A great staff.
