Stayed for 5 days tenting..not bad location nice area for tent site but...found out who likes to hang out there...drug addicts. My first encounter was from a woman who was strange, sores on her arms, talks weird, looks like a gypsy, her eyes rolls up when talking to you, ( she is a drug addict). When I'm questioned where I have camped, I would say "Mi Mnt." I get bad looks and comments bout the camp site, "Not a good place" thats where meth and heroin addicts like to hang out. GREAT JUST WHAT I NEEDED TO KNOW...NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY THERE MUCH LESS SEND PEOPLE THERE!!
I am the new owner of Mi Mountain Campground as of 7/14/2017. It is unfortunate some reviews are negative regarding my park. Please know that I have worked hard to remove the people that have no place here. Also know that Diane Morgan's review is unwarranted. I looked through records and noticed her stay here was almost two years ago, yet she has decided to post her review only two weeks ago....she will be hearing from my attorney. She claims to be a local guide...she is not.
Had an awesome time! Erin is a wonderful lady (the owner) who has great plans for this wonderful gem of a camp ground! Extremely friendly folks, clean and gorgeous camp ground!! Though our vacation was cut short, we will definitely be going back!!! I would recommend this camp ground to anyone!!
I will be having a re-grand opening in April 2018...come check us out.
The owners are "cliquish". Lots of drugs, alcohol, fighting. I worked hard, just to keep the tree, snakes, mice, leaves, and termites, from getting into our RV. It isn't kept up, unless you do it, yourself. They pay someone to mow, but dump debris down a hill, into a muddy marsh.....the mosquitoes are horrible, there. Greg, the owner, has an amputation of his leg, and complains, while doing nothing. There is severe gossiping, by the owners about tenants to tenants. One tenant asked me to take the extremely thick leaves off her lot, by raking with my own equipment, the smell was horrible, from the mold & mildew, slime on years of dead leaves, and the owners got mad at me.....I didn't charge a dime for helping them. The "office", "laundry room" is nasty, with severe termite damage, as none of the overgrowth of trees, bushes, and debris has been maintained. It could be nice, IF someone who cared, owned the place. Overcharged. Paid monthly rent, then was asked to leave for no good reason, except that I was helping keep the grounds nice. I still don't get it. But that's the truth of it.
We camped at Mi Mountain in Aug. 2017 for 3 nights. Erin, the new owner could not have been any nicer. The campsite is rather small, but has a nice, peaceful feel to it. When you enter the campground you pass mostly permanent campsites. They are neat and have a clean appearance. As you pass these sites you go around a curve and there are about 7-8 pull through sites, with full hook ups and cable, that look out over a wooded ravine. The sites have a very private feel to them. The sites are level and most will accommodate bigger rigs. We had no problem with our 31 ft. 5th wheel. The bathhouse, complete with showers, is very clean. There are tent sites, many with water and electric service. The location is very convenient to both downtown Franklin and good hiking trails on the AT. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights there and will definitely go back.
