Love this place! We tent camp almost every year and set up right along the river.. Clean and friendly!
The park is right on the water and the camper we rented was very nice. The best part of the park was the people ,they were very kind and helpfull. Our cat got loose and every one in the park helped . Pat the manager and his wife were very helpfull with our needs
We drove from Atlanta for the 4th of July weekend. Pulled in and immediately we knew it wasn't going to work for us. We have been camping for years and have never left a campground until now. This campground is more like a trailer park. Sites were on top of each other with perhaps 8 feet between sites once set up. The managers on duty were quite nice but this is not a place we would ever recommend to anyone. We were fortunate enough to find a campground with a last minute cancellation. Most campers want to feel connected to nature...there isn't any here. Honestly, had we not found another campground, we would have driven back home.
Great atmosphere, we tent camped next to the river. Everyone was friendly. This is a heavily utilized RV campground, but no problems for my family. The facilities are very clean and we were so happy with our stay. We will stay here next time I'm in the area.
I brought my son here because on Google Maps it is right by the river. It's a beautiful Campground. What others said about the lots being close is true. But that was more than overcome by the outstanding friendliness of the staff and the people there. This is only my third outing in our travel trailer. I would definitely come here again because the management give me another space when I couldn't figure out how to get my RV backed into the one that I had originally booked.
